Athens Civil War Roundtable

Everyone is welcome to attend a presentation by Steve Ball, of Columbus, to the Athens Civil War Roundtable. The program will feature American songs from just before and during the Civil War, illustrating popular opinion surrounding America’s bloodiest conflict. Several featured songs were written by women, contextualizing the rising prominence of female artists in the Civil War era.
