2023 Boogie on the Bricks: Remix Edition

Join us this Saturday for Boogie on the Bricks, Athens, Ohio’s beloved one-day music and arts festival! Mark your calendars for June 24, 2023, from 12pm to 10pm ET, as Court Street comes alive with the vibrant sounds of live music, the tempting aromas of food trucks, and a wide array of engaging community booths, artisan vendors, and fun activities for kids. We can’t wait to share our diverse lineup and unique offerings with you!

Local favorite DJ Barticus will emcee an incredible lineup of musical talents, including The Devil Doves, East of Hedon, Dark Horse, Blue Collar Queer, Bailey Reis with Jarrod Goggans, Ted Harris Quartet, and Ready Aim Flowers.

Indulge your taste buds with delicious treats from Dr. May’s Thai, Hot Diggity Dog, and Lemon Shake-Up. You can also support a good cause by grabbing a bite at the Bobcats for Ukraine stand.

Boogie on the Bricks is a family-friendly event, and we’ve made sure to create a designated Kids Zone where our younger attendees can have a blast. With exciting features like a bounce house and refreshing sno-cones from Kona Ice, there’s fun for all ages.

New this year, you can enjoy your favorite adult beverages from local establishments while attending the festival! Boogie on the Bricks 2023 takes place in Athens, Ohio’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA), allowing you to purchase and carry your choice of adult beverages from popular places like Tony’s Tavern, the Pigskin, Lucky’s Sports Tavern, Cats Eye Saloon, The Over Hang, The C.I., The Crystal, Casa Nueva Restaurant & Cantina and many more.  At previous festivals, Boogie on the Bricks sold adult beverages, and your street-legal options were limited to what was being sold by the festival.  Starting this year, you’re free to drink whatever you like, purchased from your favorite DORA-participating establishment.

Boogie on the Bricks is a non-profit corporation, and we rely entirely on community sponsorship. This means that the festival is made possible by generous donations from individuals like you. We’re proud to say that 100% of all proceeds contribute directly to improving the festival each year. We invite and deeply appreciate your support.
