WOUB’s Learning Lab, Ascent, and the Ohio Valley Museum of Discovery are once again teaming up to host Code Fest: A Festival of Coding, a free Hour of Code event designed to spark interest in computer programming for all ages.

The event takes place Sunday, December 7, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Athens Meigs Educational Services Center in Chauncey. Participants can explore hands-on activities ranging from early learning tools like BeeBots and Lego Coding Train to advanced robotics, drones, and Arduino projects.

Local partners and volunteers will lead workshops and demonstrations highlighting real-world STEM applications and career pathways. With activities tailored to toddlers through high schoolers, Code Fest aims to make coding accessible, engaging, and fun for the entire community.
