Expansive Ideas: The Changing Night Sky
March 5 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
For much of human history, the night sky was thought to be eternal and unchanging. We now know that the Universe is constantly changing, with galaxies colliding, stars forming and exploding, and a myriad of other celestial events. We’ll explore what we know about these events and even how they play a part in where we come from.
All ages are welcome for this interactive presentation with Dr. Michael Koop, associate professor of instruction in astronomy and physics.
