The Global Education Fair aims to promote global awareness, intercultural competence, global citizenship, and community engagement, strengthening connections among Ohio University, P–12 schools, and surrounding communities. A diverse group of Ohio University students will present cultures from countries around the world and engage P–12 students in hands-on activities designed to support experiential learning about global cultures. Through these activities, P–12 students will expand their understanding of cultural diversity and contribute to fostering an inclusive and culturally responsive environment within the ACSD and the broader community. This event is not sponsored by The Athens City School District.
