Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) Training
February 27 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Free
On Thursday, February 27th 1pm to 4pm, the Chesterhill Produce Auction (a social enterprise of Rural Action) and Central State University Extension will be holding a Good Handling Practices (GAP) Training at the Chesterhill Community Center for farm business owners and operators. We will be providing up-to-date information on how agricultural products should be produced, packed, handled, and stored to minimize risks of microbial food safety hazards.
Why join? Being GAP trained can make you more attractive to buyers like Ohio’s University’s Culinary Department!
If you’re interested, you can read more about the training and register at bit.ly/4hBRLoX .
There will be coffee and water provided.
This training is free and open to the public! Seats are limited.
