Have you always wanted to learn how to quilt? Then come join one or join all in our series of beginner’s quilting classes at Athens Makerspace!

Our talented instructor, Debbie Boggs, will guide you in turning scrap fabrics into a masterpiece to keep or give away. No prior quilting experience required. The pattern for this class will be decided by participants at our October 7th, Intro to Quilting – Pattern TBD! class – if you’d to give your input on what will be chosen, be sure to join us then also!

Please plan to bring your sewing machine to this class, as well as fabrics you would like to use.

If you don’t have quilting fabric, please consider stopping next door at ReUse on Union prior to class time to choose something you love from our wide selection of quilting cottons and know you’ll be supporting a good cause!

If you have a stock of inspiring quilting cotton scraps that you are dying to use, please bring them along!
