The Muskingum River Woodland Interest Group (MRWIG) is hosting our third annual Forest Field Day Saturday, October 26th.  Tour a recent prescribed burn at Blue Rock State Forest in the afternoon, wrapping up with a potluck, silent auction, and raffle, with the evening transitioning into a stargazing and astronomy program. Participants should expect some moderate-intensity walking, and wear the appropriate footwear. This event is no-cost, but you may want to renew your MRWIG membership and purchase raffle tickets. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP by Friday, October 18th by filling out and returning the registration form on our website at www.mrwig.org. In addition to a potluck item for all to share, you are encouraged to bring an item for the silent auction. All silent auction proceeds will go towards the sponsorship of a student attending Camp Canopy, a natural resources-oriented summer camp for high school students.
