Scottish Dance for Beginners

Want to get your brain and body moving and meet new friends? Scottish Country Dance is a social dance form a bit like contra, but with more footwork. The name of the game is fun!
Start at the very beginning, with no partner or experience necessary. If you can walk briskly, you can dance!
This four-week class meets every Wednesday from 6 to 7 pm at the Athens Community Center between May 7 and May 28. Each week we’ll be building on the previous week’s session, so drop-ins aren’t possible. (However, if you need to miss a single class, you’ll be fine.)
CHILDCARE IS AVAILABLE in a different part of the building for an additional fee. Please register your child here: https://www.ci.athens.oh.us/770/Kids-Club
Cost: $20 for all four classes. Registration information coming soon. (Or just show up for class and pay at the front desk on your way in.)
Attire: Clothes you can move in! Sneakers or ghillies are great on your feet. Dresses, kilts, shorts, or yoga pants are all perfect.
