The Athens United Immigrant Support Project is hosting a silent auction to support asylum seekers from Central and South America who are delayed (sometimes for many months and without resources) at the Mexican border.  We aim to build a network of southeast Ohio citizens who are interested in lending a hand via home sponsorship; one-time cash donations; monthly pledge donations; or any of the other myriad ways that help is needed (Spanish translation; household goods; transportation; etc).  Please join us, as the auction items are amazing!  Complimentary wine and snacks will be available.
