As we all become aware of the shifts that are occurring in our climate, we must also become aware of the personal and land management practices we can implement to deal with these changes.

Join us at the Athens Public Library on September 27, 2023 at 6:00pm for a presentation by Teresa Caldwell, the Conservation Education Coordinator for the Athens Soil and Water Conservation District. Ms Caldwell will share information about what we might expect in the way of increased rainfall events, the possibility of flooding, as well as the pollution that may accompany them and what ‘best management practices’ (BMPs) we might apply to reduce the effects of these changes.
