The mother-in-law of a Logan woman found strangled in a septic tank last year will face trial on May 14.

Sandra Inman has been charged with murder, kidnapping, tampering with evidence and gross abuse of a corpse in the March 2011 death of Summer Inman.

A clerk with the Hocking County Common Pleas Court says Sandra Inman's initial trial date was changed from Monday after her attorney's filed motions that required additional time to process.

Inman had earlier pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to kidnapping Summer Inman, a judge ruled she was sane at the time of the alleged offenses.

Summer Inman's estranged husband and father-in-law have pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and kidnapping.

William Inman Jr. will face trial on May 24, and William Inman Sr. will appear on August 24.
