A Perry County town will receive federal funds to make improvements to its water system.
The grant for New Straitsville is for $500,000.
The Ohio Department of Development says the village is going to replace nearly 17,000 feet of waterlines and nearly 7,000 feet of service lines.
The estimated project cost is $1.1 million and it will benefit about 300 households.
