BB Gun Found On School Bus

Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies were called yesterday when a gun was found on a Fairland School District bus.
Turns out it was a BB gun but a student could still be in trouble.
Sheriff Jeff Lawless says the toy gun was found in a backpack of an eight-year-old student by the bus driver.
It was not loaded.
Lawless says "An investigation is underway to determine why the student brought this toy gun to school with him."
The results will be sent to the Lawrence County Prosecutor's Office for possible charges.
