Four people are in jail after the discovery of individually packaged illegal drugs at a Marietta residence.

Major Crimes Task Force agents from the Washington County Sheriff's office searched the home of Josey Barton, 20, early this morning.  Agents seized 18 grams of crack cocaine packaged for sale.  Barton told officers the two men in her trailer, Lance Glenn, 27, and Thomas Givens, 25, both of Columbus, came to her home twice a week to sell drugs.  Deputies found Givens and Glenn in a bedroom with the cocaine, a digital scale and a package of plastic bags.

Barton is charged with a fifth degree felony of permitting drug abuse.  Givens and Glenn were each charged with second degree felony charges of complicity in trafficking cocaine.

Officers arrested Chadwick Smearman, 30, for violating probation.  Smearman lived at the home at the time of the search.
