Washington Co. Man Arrested For Stealing $20,000 Worth Of Copper Pipes
< < Back toA Washington County man is in jail facing felony charges in connection to the theft of more than $20,000 worth of copper pipes.
Sheriff's deputies questioned Alan Hall after his boss alleged Hall was stealing pipes and fittings from Pioneer Pipes, where Hall worked.
Sheriff Larry Mincks says Hall admitted to stealing two boxes of copper pipes and selling them for scrap for $138. He later told investigators he had been taking between two and four boxes every month for the past year and a half.
Bond was set at $5,000.
Hall remains in the Washington County Jail.
