Ohio State Fire Marshal's Investigators say they're not sure what caused a fatal fire in Ross County yet.

Harry Smith, 89, was killed in the Sunday blaze at his home on State Route 772 in Chillicothe.

The fire happened around 10 a.m.

An autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of death.  Investigators say that could take six to eight weeks.

Toxicology tests were performed as part of the autopsy.

Investigators say they don't know yet whether the fire was an accident or if it was intentionally set.

According to a news release, family members discovered the fire.

Sheriff's detectives are interviewing witnesses, first responders and family members to gather information.

Witnesses say smoke alarms were going off in the home.
