Romney In Ohio
< < Back toOhio Republican officials say presidential contender Mitt Romney will visit volunteers at a phone center seeking supporters for Ohio ballot issues on public employee
bargaining and on President Barack Obama's health care overhaul.
Romney's stop is planned this morning in the Cincinnati suburb of Terrace Park.
Ohioans will vote Nov. 8 on whether to uphold legislation restricting collective bargaining for public employees and whether to let Ohioans stay out of the Obama plan's individual insurance coverage mandate.
Critics of Romney say his opposition to Obama's plan conflicts with enactment of a Massachusetts health plan when he was governor.
Romney says there are important differences, including that state voters can get rid of the plan if they want.
The federal plan is heading toward the Supreme Court.
