Bond has been set at $100,000 for a man from The Plains accused of stuffing nearly 70 balloons of heroin in a body cavity.
Ronald Young, 54, entered a plea of not guilty to an indictment charging Trafficking in Heroin, Possession of Heroin and Tampering with Evidence.
Sheriff's deputies say they intercepted Young with a 100 balloon heroin shipment on State Route 33 in Nelsonville last month.
Then, they say, they interviewed Young and discovered nearly 70 additional balloons were lodged in his rectal area.
Investigators say the drugs came from Columbus and Columbus Police stopped the provider of the heroin after a transaction between Young and the Columbus dealers.
