The Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office is asking for the public's help locating a Lancaster man after his home caught on fire Monday night.

Investigators say firefighters were called to the blaze on Eckert Road around 10:30 p.m. and the home was destroyed.

Mark Johnson, 49, lived in the home with his two children.

The children were not home at the time of the fire and investigators say they are safe and staying with other family members.

The burned remains of a goat were found in the ashes of the home, but Johnson has not been found.

Johnson's cars were at the home.

The last time family and friends were in contact with Johnson was Sunday, November 27.
