A Hocking College sophomore student was accepted as a member in the National Community College Aerospace Scholars (NCAS) program.

John Corliss is one of the 200 national participants standing out in a national competition across the nation to become a National Community College Aerospace scholar.

He studies Advanced Energy and Fuel Cells at Hocking College.

NCAS is a NASA-hosted educational program for community college students. Students accepted to  this program begin with web-based training activities. Based on the performance of web-based activities, a smaller group of selected students will attend a three-day workshop to visit NASA facilities, interacting with NASA engineers, scientists and astronauts.
