Earthquakes and Fracking

Seismologists monitoring a series of earthquakes near Youngstown, Ohio, have tied them to a well injected with wastewater from drilling operations. Gas industry executives say there's no evidence injecting wells with water causes earthquakes, but scientists disagree. This morning on NPR's Morning Edition, a conversation exploring what scientists know about the connection between fluid injection into wells and quakes.
