Another Ohio University Dean Steps Down

A university spokesperson says Dean Charles McWeeny of the College of Fine Arts will step down from his position at the end of the academic year.
In an e-mail to his staff, Dean McWeeny said that he wants to go back to teaching classes and work on his ceramics artwork and research.
The College of Fine Arts faculty are being asked to nominate themselves or other tenure track faculty to serve as interim dean.
The Provost's office will begin a national search for a replacement in the fall.
OU has had to fill several dean vacancies in the last couple of years.
