Newspaper Carrier Killed In Head-On Collision
< < Back toTwo men are dead following a head-on accident involving a Chillicothe Gazette newspaper carrier early this morning.
A dispatcher with the Ohio State Highway Patrol Chillicothe post says Kenneth Plowman, 24, drove left of center on State Route 207 and hit the car of carrier Laymon Whitt Junior, 39.
Plowman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Whitt was flown to The Ohio State Medical center where he was pronounced dead.
The crash happened around 4:30 a.m.
Authorities say there are no witnesses at this time.
State Route 207 was closed until 8 a.m. between State Route 104 and U.S. 23.
