Authorities Continue Search For Murder Suspect
< < Back toAuthorities continue to search for a Zanesville man, indicted for murder in connection with the shooting deaths of two men near Cambridge in June.
The Guernsey County Sheriff's Office and U.S. Marshals are looking for 22-year-old Tyler Burrell (pictured), one of the men believed to be responsible for the shooting deaths of Christopher Morrison and Justain Nelson at a Coventry Estates apartment on June 24.
Another Zanesville man charged in the case, 20-year-old Elgin Mitchell, is in custody in the Muskingum County Jail.
Both face charges, which include complicity to commit murder, complicity to commit aggravated robbery and complicity to commit aggravated burglary.
Det. Sam Williams of the Sheriff's Office said that Burrell has cut off his long hair to change his appearance.
Anyone with knowledge of Burrell's whereabouts is asked to contact the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office at 740-439-4455. Both the Sheriff's Office and U.S. Marshals remind residents that if Burrell is spotted, do not approach him – he should be considered armed and dangerous.
