Athens Police Investigating Gunshot Death

Captain Ralph Harvey says Michael Yoho, 48, of Athens, died after being shot at an apartment.
Athens police are investigating an early morning shooting that left one man dead.
According to Captain Ralph Harvey, officers responded to a call of a gunshot injury at an apartment on Cardinal Lane around 3:15 Friday morning.
The victim was taken to O'Bleness Memorial Hospital and later flown to Grant Hospital in Columbus, where he was pronounced dead.
Harvey says no name has been released yet because the victim's family has not been notified.
A weapon involved was found at the scene.
Harvey says there is no threat to the public at this time.
No arrests have been made.
