More than 20 jobs at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg are on the chopping block, according to a memo sent out by the center's CEO Thursday.

President and CEO Mike King told employees a total of 21 workers are being cut from the Memorial and St. Joseph's Campuses.

Fourteen people are being cut from the Memorial Campus, while seven are being cut from the St. Joseph's campus.

"Patient volumes at Camden Clark have declined precipitously over the last couple of years," King wrote in the memo.

The memo indicates the positions are mainly in support services, including laboratory, imaging, respiratory care, housekeeping, bio-med and transcription.

Administrative positions in employee health, human resources, education and guest relations are also being eliminated.
