Ohio soccer’s Cat Rogers was named the Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Week by the league office on Monday. The senior midfielder has been in great form over the past week, scoring a game winning goal and assisting on a game winning goal, while leading Ohio on a four game winning streak.

The Bobcats are now 4-3 on the season and Rogers has been at the forefront of the offensive attack as of late. She scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Niagara, her fourth in just three games and fifth of the season.
On Sunday with the game tied 1-1 against Cleveland St., Rogers delivered a cross that provided the service for freshman Holly Harris to score the winning goal.
This is the first time Rogers has won the award this season. The Bobcats return to action next Friday, Sept. 14 as they finish up their three-game home stand against Youngstown State.
