Police say a Washington County man was growing more than 60 marijuana plants in his garden.

Deputies found 68 plants while executing a search warrant in William Keel's garden, inside his house, and in a nearby field in Little Hocking.

They also found a rifle in his house, one that police say he wasn't legally allowed to have because of a prior drug conviction.

Keel's charged with a felony for weapons under disability.

He's also facing charges for growing the marijuana plants.

Police say the 68 plants total 3,000 grams.

He's charged with two felony counts of cultivating marijuana.

Keel is currently behind bars at the Washington County Jail.
