A Talk With Ohio’s 30th District Senator Lou Gentile
< < Back toOn this edition of Conversations from Studio B, host Ron Luce talks with Ohio’s 30th District Senator Lou Gentile.
Lou Gentile, a democrat, was appointed to serve Southeastern Ohio in the 30th Senate District in December 2011. The 30th Senate District includes Columbiana, Tuscarawas, Belmont, Harrison and Jefferson Counties. Gentile previously served in the Ohio House of Representatives, where he represented the 95th House District.
Gentile and Luce discuss important issues within our listening area, such as hydraulic fracturing, or fracking.
Luce, the Executive Director of the Athens County Historical Society and Museum, also asks Gentile about issues facing the preservation of historical sites and structures throughout Southeastern Ohio.
Gentile’s first term as 30th District Senator expires in December of 2012; he is currently campaigning for re-election.
