Political campaigns and community organizers are making their final push to register people to vote in the presidential battleground state of Ohio.
All of the state's 88 county elections boards will be open until 9 p.m. Tuesday, when registration ends.
According to the secretary of state's office, more than 7.9 million Ohioans were registered to vote as of Friday. And the state' elections chief has said he expects that count to grow slightly.
About 8.2 million Ohioans were registered to vote in 2008.
Several Ohio churches in Cleveland and Cincinnati planned to take people to local boards so they could register and vote. The Rev. Jesse Jackson planned to urge Cincinnati State University students to vote at a Tuesday rally.
Early voting for the Nov. 6 election began last week.
