Ohio EPA Awards Barnesville Hospital Association

Residents in Belmont and Monroe counties will have a chance to exchange their older mercury thermometers for new safer ones thanks a grant from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.
Ohio EPA recently awarded five thousand dollars to the Barnesville Hospital Association for an educational program.
Participants will learn more about threats from mercury.
The exchange program will be held along with local community events.
The Ohio Environmental Education Fund provides both general grants and mini grants each year totaling approximately one million dollars.
