The Bobcats open regular season play against 1-0 Cleveland State at home tonight. Although Ohio has lost two of the last three games in this series, the 'Cats have never lost to the Vikings at home. Tonight’s game will mark the 22nd meeting in the series.

The Bobcats come off a tough 76-74 win in overtime against Wheeling Jesuit.  Ohio fans should watch for solid plays from returning junior Shavon Robinson, who ranked second in scoring last year, as well as sophomore Mariah Byard, senior Tina Fisher and the fired up freshman Lexie Baldwin. Baldwin forged the Bobcats to a victory against Wheeling Jesuit.

Cleveland State brings a strong starting lineup led by seniors Shalonda Winton and Honesty King as well as sophomores Cori Coleman, Imani Gordon and Kiersten Green, who all combined for 65% of CSU’s scoring last year. The Vikings come off a 60-46 win against South Dakota.
