Ohio Wins Three Events in First Indoor Track Meet

The Ohio Bobcats captured first place in three events at the Marietta First Glimpse Saturday in Marietta, Ohio. It was the first meet of the season for Ohio Indoor Track and Field.

The team of Chanda Cuckler, Karissa Conrad, Delaney Bolger and Danielle Winnigham won the 4x400m relay. Winningham also captured first in the 400m with a time of 58.39. Conrad finished second in the same event. 

Ohio’s Kristin Winkel finished second in the 55m hurdles. Her time of 8.57 was just .03 seconds behind the winner.

Alexis Geiger won the Long Jump with a distance of 5.46m, and teammate Erika Armstead finished second at 5.15m. The Bobcats also had second place finishes in the Weight Throw by Kristen Mason,  and in the 800m by Hayley Stegemiller.

Jaimie Cavinee tied a personal record of 10’6” in a second place finish in the Pole Vault.

Ohio's next meet will be Dec. 7 and 8 at the Golden Flash Gala in Kent, Ohio.
