A former Logan youth pastor, who pleaded guilty to sex charges involving a 13-year-old congregant, is sentenced to serve six months in prison.

According to the Hocking County prosecutor's office, Travis Branstetter, 31, appeared in Hocking County Common Pleas court Friday.

Branstetter had pleaded guilty to three counts of attempted gross sexual imposition as part of a plea agreement.

He was an ordained minister who was the youth pastor for five years at the Church of the Nazarene in Logan.
