VIDEO: Nelsonville Police Search For Armed Robbery Suspect
< < Back toPolice officers are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a Nelsonville pharmacy last week.
The Nelsonville Police Department says the unknown suspect walked into the Fruth Pharmacy on Friday at around 6:49 p.m. and went directly to the pharmacy.
Police say the suspect jumped the counter, showed the employees a firearm and demanded medication. They say the robber took a large amount of prescription medication and money from the cash register and then fled out the back door on foot.
Officers say the white suspect is in their mid 30's and was wearing a black hoodie, black toboggan, black sun glasses and blue jeans at the time of the robbery.
The suspect was last seen heading westbound on Washington Street.
Officers say they also have video surveillance from neighboring businesses that shows suspects who could possibly be involved with the robbery. The suspects are three white males in their late teens to early 30's that got out of a white Mercedes, four door vehicle with a sun roof.
