Rio Grande Men’s Basketball Adds Two

The Rio Grande RedStorm added a pair of men’s basketball players Friday, inking guard Gabe Davila and forward Josh Reagan. Both are eligible for the 2013-14 season, according to RioRedStorm.com.

Davila is a 6-foot-1 guard who last played in 2010-11 for Delaware Technical Community College. Before his two-year absence from basketball, Davila averaged about six points, two rebounds and five assists per game for the Hawks. He played high school basketball at Beachwood High School in Cleveland, Ohio.

Reagan stands at 6-foot-6 as a transfer from Cuyahoga Community College. He averaged 25 points and 10.9 rebounds per game at Cuyahoga. Prior to that he played with Davila at Delaware Tech, where he averaged 19.1 points and 12.2 rebounds. Reagan played high school basketball at Lakewood High School, also in Cleveland.

Rio Grande finished last season 11-19 overall and 6-14 in the Mid-South Conference.
