OU Poetry Slam This Weekend

The Ohio University Association of Black Journalists will present "Go With The Flow," a poetry slam, Saturday, Nov. 9 in OU's Baker 1804 lounge.
The slam, which has three rounds, will begin at 7:30 p.m. Contestants are expected to arrive at 6:30.
All pieces must be original work and last no more than two-and-a-half minutes with a 30 second grace period. Gift cards will be awarded in the following amounts: first place, $100; second place, $50; and third place, $25.
All applications must be submitted to event organizer Aunjanna' Million by emailing am093811@ohio.edu.
The cost of admission is $1 with a canned good or $2 without a canned good.
