Rio Grande Closes Out Season With Win

The Rio Grande RedStorm (14-15, 7-11 MSC) finished the regular season with a bang by defeating Shawnee State on the road in straight sets, 25-23, 25-23, 25-23. With the victory the RedStorm finished the regular season on a four-game winning streak.
Autumn Snider led the RedStorm offense with 11 kills and an attacking percentage of .429. Kayla Briley added 28 assists and Nicole Ogg added 20 digs on defense.
With the strong finish to the season, Rio Grande will be the seventh seed in next weekend’s Mid-South Conference tournament. The RedStorm are currently scheduled to play on Nov. 15 with the time and opponent to be determined.
