Former Ohio Bobcat star D.J. Cooper has been named first half MVP in the Greek Basket League.

Cooper received 239 points from MVP voters after averaging 12.8 points per game in the first half of the season. Cooper has played in all 13 games for PAOK BC hauling in 56 rebounds and dishing out 79 assists.

Cooper finished ahead of the league's leading scorer Erik McCollum and 2012 MVP Vassilis Spanoulis.

While at Ohio, Cooper became the only college basketball player to ever record 2,000 points, 900 assists, 600 rebounds and 300 steals. In 2013 he was named Mid-American Conference Player of the Year.

Cooper and PAOK face off with Collossus this Sunday.
