Bitterly Cold Temperatures Closes Or Delays Schools Friday

Athens City, Nelsonville-York, Alexander Local, Federal Hocking and Trimble Local Schools were closed while Tri-County Career Center was on a two-hour delay.
A wind chill advisory is in effect until 10:00 AM and a winter weather advisory posted until 7:00 PM Friday.
The high temperature Friday was not expected to get above 19 degrees and wind chill values were expected to be as low as 17 below.
Snow is in the forecast for Friday night and Saturday with accumulations of 2-4 inches expected.
