Rio RedStorm Adds Softball Recruit For 2015

The University of Rio Grande has announced the signing of Gabby Gregg, a third basemen from Teays Valley High School, who signed for the 2015 season.
In Gregg's junior season, she was named to the first team All-Conference along with All-District honors for the same season. She was an honorable mention All-Ohio player and a special mention to the Columbus All-Metro team.
Teays Valley High School went 10-15 last season under head coach Brenna Giesige. Gregg had a successful junior year as she had a .442 batting average while hitting four home runs and garnering 31 RBIs.
The RedStorm, under head coach Kristen Bradshaw, currently have two freshman third basemen on their roster for the 2014 season.
Gregg, daughter of Dale and Amy Gregg, chose to commit to the RedStorm over Pensacola State and Bluffton University, who also showed interest in her. Gregg looks forward to playing close to home so her family can easily support her.
