Another Round Of Snow Made Roads Slick For Morning Commute
< < Back toSeveral state highway patrol posts say roads are clear after a winter dusting of snow hit the area Tuesday morning.
Several counties in Southeast Ohio were under a winter weather advisory from 8 a.m. through 11 p.m. Tuesday morning by the National Weather Service.
Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks issued a Level 1 Snow Emergency for the county as a result of slick conditions.
The Athens Post said they had many calls reporting minor accidents and cars sliding off the roads during the morning commute. Other posts in the area say they only had a couple of fender benders due to the slick conditions.
