Man, Woman Arrrested Following High Speed Chase In Putnam County

Two people have been arrested in connection with a high speed chase that reached more than 100 miles per hour early Monday morning.
Putnam County Chief Deputy Eric Hayzlett tells WSAZ that Joseph Fowler III is charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of a stolen vehicle and numerous traffic charges.
His passenger, Carrie Cunningham has been charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Dispatchers say the chase started at Java Joes in Hurricane at 2:53 Monday morning when Putnam County Deputies were doing a traffic stop. It ended at 3:30 a.m. on Holly Street in St. Albans.
The two are being taken to Western Regional Jail in Barboursville.
