Huntington Brush Fire
< < Back to(WSAZ)- Crews from multiple fire departments from the Huntington area fought a brush fire that temporarily closed the entrance to Johnston Road last night.
WSAZ reports that a house was thought to be in jeopardy. Flames were as close as 4 to 5 feet from the home at times.
A woman who lives in the house says she heard a loud pop, which firefighters say may have resulted from an electrical transformer that blew.
Firefighters say a tree fell on a power line.
It was immediately unknown how many acres are affected.
