Young Girl Bit By Dog
< < Back toThe Athens County Sheriff's Office responded to Bean Road in The Plains today after a report of a child being bitten in the face by a pit bull.
Deputy Kelchar and Lieutenant Morris arrived on scene and spoke with the child's parents and the owner of the dog.
The Athens County Dog Warden arrived on scene and took possession of the dog, which will be quarantined for 10 days.
The young girl was taken to Obleness where she was treated for her injuries.
