A manhunt is underway for a suspect in three shootings Monday across Monogalia County in north-central West Virginia, leaving four people killed according to West Virginia State police.

Police say that Michael David Frum, 28, of Maidsville, and Sharon Kay Berkshire, 39, Westover, were killed in the Cheat Lake area. The names of the two other shooting victims have not been released from two shootings in the Westover area.

West Virginia State Police have identified the suspect as 39-year-old Jody Lee Hunt of Westover, WV.  Police are still looking for Hunt and his 2011 Ford F-150 extended cab truck.  A black Tonneau cover is over the truck bed, and an unknown sticker is on the back window. The license plate has been blacked out and couldn't be read.

911 Dispatchers for Monogalia County describe Hunt as being about 5 foot, 8 to 9 inches, and around 150 lbs. He was last seen wearing a white hat.

Monogalia County Schools and other local schools were under a precautionary lockdown today because of the shootings, but nearby West Virginia University in Morgantown resumed classes saying there was no immediate threat to the campus.
People with information on the whereabouts of Hunt and his truck are urged to contact the West Virginia State Police.
