It was again big night for senior Joe Burrow as he not only put up 24 points, but he also scored his 1,000th point in his Bulldog career.
The Bulldogs played extremely well on both ends of the court as they grabbed their second win of the season and second win by a margin of 30 or more points.
The Bulldogs continued their road trip on Dec. 19 as they beat Vinton County 63-48.
Athens struggled as they were trailing in the third quarter but ended the night on a 26-9 run. Griffin Lutz and Joe Burrow both picked up their fourth foul before the third quarter ended which only added to the struggle.
