Hino Motors To Expand West Virginia Truck Assembly Plant< < Back to
Hino Motors Manufacturing U.S.A. Inc. says it plans to expand its Wood County commercial truck assembly plant and eventually add 50 full-time positions.
The company announced Thursday the investment of up to $8 million at the Williamstown facility.
Media outlets report Hino Motors will add 30,000-square-feet to its 200,000-square-foot assembly plant and build a training facility and separate quality-control testing center. Construction is expected to be complete in the fall.
The plant employs about 225 workers.
Hino introduced its commercial truck for the 2016 model year in January.
