Radio Free Athens (RFA) is broadcast Saturdays on WOUB 1340 AM and allows community volunteers and Ohio University students to present music and interview content through a format-free, host-driven program. 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. – Jazz Excursions with Dr. Art Cromwell
Aug. 1, Excursions will be sitting-in with its continuing sub series “World Jazz Diasporas”. This motif explored recordings from advanced performers across the globe. The feature will be a sampling of big bands and a variety of strummed, plucked, and bowed instruments (guitars, ouds, violins, harps, kotos, sitars, banjos). Excursions, from 6-9 pm as part of Radio Free Athens, on WOUB public radio Ohio University.
